Companies on the road to CO2 neutrality
More and more companies want to become climate-neutral. The energy management solution supports you: companies can determine their CO2 emissions, immediately record the effectiveness of measures and provide evidence of efficiency increases.
Rising electricity costs and a constantly increasing CO2 price are increasing the pressure on companies to reduce their CO2 emissions. Added to the society's growing awareness of climate change and the increasing demands on companies to do their part to reduce CO2 emissions. Around six out of ten companies in Germany have already set themselves the goal of becoming carbon neutral, and around half of them have already started to do so. The energy management solution from econ solutions offers you simple and effective support for this. This is because the solution determines and analyzes both direct emissions from your own combustion processes, e.g. your own energy generation plants, and indirect emissions from the purchase of grid-bound energy, e.g. purchased electricity Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) Winter 2019 of the Institute for Energy Efficiency in Production at the University of Stuttgart, the German Energy Agency (dena), the Federation of German Industries (BDI), Fraunhofer IPA, TÜV Rheinland and other partners.
The solution consists of the econ4 software, the econ sens3 energy and power meter and other components for automated energy data acquisition. We also offer various advisory and technical services relating to energy efficiency.
The econ4 software records the consumption of various types of media in detail, such as electricity, gas, water, oil, etc. and outputs the measured values in kWh, m3 or liters as well as in CO2 equivalents. econ4 integrates meters, data loggers and other measuring devices as well as other operational data from existing systems, regardless of the manufacturer. From all these sources, econ4 provides many flexibly configurable and clear evaluations. This gives companies a precise overview of where and when the most CO2 is emitted in the company. At the same time, they have proof for partner companies. The effectiveness of measures can be tracked immediately and readjusted if necessary. econ4 can be operated as a cloud solution or directly on site. The software is also eligible for BAFA funding and offers a certification assistant for the current ISO 50001.
The second component, the econ sens3 energy and power meter, measures all key electrical energy parameters in detail. The device can be installed in just a few minutes, even in existing infrastructure and where space is limited. The software-based solution is complemented by services such as "econ efficiency support". This enables companies to analyze their energy and CO2 savings potential, identify emission hotspots and derive appropriate measures.
