Among other things, he was responsible for energy procurement and energy sales at a municipal utility. He has been an approved BAFA auditor for the EDL-G since 2015 and has supported numerous companies with the implementation of EN ISO 50001 in Saxony. In 2016, he contributed to the brochure "Kommunales Energiemanagement" as an author.

Knud Clausen has been working in Technical Sales and Product Management at econ solutions since 2015. He has been working in the energy sector in various functions since 2002. From 2002 to 2015, he gained a wealth of experience in the field of renewable energies, including at BayWa r.e. In addition to studying industrial engineering at Göttingen University of Applied Sciences, he completed a supplementary degree in "Intelligent Energy Networks" at the University of Freiburg in collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE, Freiburg.
