The internationally active family business THIEME from Teningen (Baden-Württemberg) has taken a decisive step towards climate neutrality with the introduction of an energy management system and targeted efficiency measures. Thanks to the econ4 energy management software, THIEME was able to systematically analyze and optimize its energy consumption - with impressive results: Natural gas consumption has been reduced by over 50% and around 1,200 MWh of energy is saved every year. With innovative technologies, smart in-house power generation and other measures, the company is well on the way to reducing its CO2 emissions to zero by 2030.

Bodensee-Schiffsbetriebe (BSB) has been promoting mobility and sustainability on Lake Constance since 1824. With a modern passenger fleet, port facilities and a ferry connection between Germany and Switzerland, they stand for environmentally conscious mobility in a sensitive ecoregion. EMAS-certified since 2001, BSB has been using the econ4 energy management software since 2022 to efficiently record energy consumption and sustainably optimize processes. With digital electricity meters and smart monitoring, BSB is heading towards a greener future - for climate protection and resource conservation on Lake Constance.

Betz Chrom is continuously increasing its energy efficiency. For ISO 50001 certification, these efficiency improvements must also be documented and various energy performance indicators determined. However, the owner-managed company did not just want to put in the effort for the audit, but wanted to derive real benefits from it.
